Biography
Alna Hofmeyr is a Los Angeles-based songwriter, vocalist, and vocal producer, known for her exceptional melodies, unique concepts, and impactful lyrics that blend catchy pop sensibilities with a fresh edge.
Alna has landed recent & upcoming cuts with Illenium, Dove Cameron, Kylie Minogue (co-wrote “Kiss Bang Bang” from Tension II, which debuted #1 UK & ARIA album charts), Bebe Rexha, Jenna Raine (multiple singles), Jax Jones, ILLIT (co-wrote “Lucky Girl Syndrome” single from Super Real Me EP, which set a record for the highest first-week sales by any K-pop girl group debut album), among others. She’s been writing extensively with artists such as Amelia Moore, Kyra Machida, and Madison Bailey, as well as other sessions with Lay Bankz, Baby Nova, Elley Duhe, Alexander Stewart, Stephen Dawes, Tele, Nessa Barrett, Joel Corry, etc.
While Alna has releases in the mix she’s written entirely on her own, she also thrives in collaborative environments. Her favorite go-to writers and producers include Sarah Hudson, JHart, Afterhrs, Imad Royal, Mozella, Oak, Annika Bennett, Andrew Goldstein, Brasko, and Castle, to name a few.
