Andy Wallace has mixed such critically acclaimed albums as Nirvana’s “Nevermind” (Geffen), Coldplay’s “Viva La Vida” (Parlophone), Rage Against The Machine;s “Evil Empire” (Epic), System Of A Down’s “Toxicity” and Sonic Youth’s “Dirty” (Geffen). He mixed and co-produced Slayer’s “Reign In Blood” (Geffen) and produced Jeff Buckley’s gold debut album “Grace” (Sony).
In 1986, Andy Wallace co-produced with Rick Rubin the groundbreaking Run-DMC/Aerosmith track “Walk This Way” (Arista), widely acknowledged for bringing hip hop to the mainstream. That same year Andy Wallace mixed and engineered several tracks on Beastie Boys’ “Licensed To Ill” (Capitol), which went down in history for being the first hip hop album to top the Billboard Pop charts. After 30 years of producing and mixing, over 80 million albums have been sold worldwide with Andy Wallace’s credit.
